My Lambda with V6 FTO engine

First appearance after engine transformation. Still more works to continue especially cosmetic on the interior and exterior... the rims as well.

Now I really need opinions how to tidy up the engine. Please say somethin' guys. The idea is to get the two engine heads exposed by removing the intake manifold. It could be something like this!

  1. Hey bro, I have a 1977 Colt Celeste GT and i came up with the idea as well, to fit an FTO engine in a classic mitsubishi, but you my friend you DID IT! Its very nice something to see that is actually can be done.... :) I may need need some advice & tips of part will be need to be replace:-
1)which mitsubishi Transmission model to be use?
    2)Rear Axle ?
    3)anything else?

I just love the retro mitsubishi(COLT)-Galant GTOs, Celestes, Lambdas and Starions....

  2. Hi there,
There's so much work to do but not that difficult and not that easy. What you need are:

    Sapporo gear box
    GSR clutch plate
    EVO flywheel (7 holes)
    Pressure plate (pajero)

The complication was on the machining flywheel and fabricating the spacer. That the hard part. I'll explain in brief some time next time. In the mean time go search colt and celeste at www.RetroSyndicate.com There're lot more modification explained there in Show Your Retro section.

In the mean time, if you wants to buy/sell retro part in Brunei, you can also use www.Kuasakuda.com It's mine actually. Send your car photos to me so I can preview from it.

See you next... I go to Brunei as well occassionally...
